Who Am I?

I was born and raised in Waterloo, IA. Normal childhood, played basketball and football. I finished high school and earned a basketball scholarship to a Division III school, Grand View University. Partying as a student athlete proved to be too challenging so I quit and focused on my studies. As an elective, I had to take an Intro to Theater class. The requirement was that I had to audition for a play. I was a jock and never had any interest in the arts. However, I did and I loved it. I was bitten by the bug as they say. I went on to graduate of Grand View University in Des Moines, IA with a B.A. in Radio/TV Broadcasting. Shortly after I had decided to move to Minneapolis where I thrived on the theater and independent scene. I worked at places like the Brave New Workshop and The Guthrie Theater, as well as cross country at the ACT Reparatory Theater in Seattle. Eventually I made my way to Los Angeles, CA. I grew up a lot there. There I learned how to really hustle and grind for what you want. I ate a lot ramen noodles, hot dogs and spaghettio's along the way. I spent 2 years out there and had not gotten the Academy Award I had been looking for and so I moved home to Waterloo. Since then I have had a son, Adam Jr. The light of my world. Currently I am developing or restarting you could say my career in broadcasting since I had decided to put it on hold to pursue my acting endeavor. My passion is creativity and collaboration. Writing, editing, camera operation, board operation, production, hosting and improvisation are some of the skills that I possess. I Love working in radio, television and also have done some news producing as well. Passionate living is what life is all about. That is my pursuit of happiness.
